Panspermia theory

Panspermia is hypothesis about the life origins on earth in the result of transmission of the embryos of life from other planets. First it was introduced by the German scientists Richter in 1865 and was supported by numerous scientists.
According to this theory there are life germs all over the universe in the whole space and they are transmitted from one planet to another with the help of meteors or under the pressure of light. With the help of panspermia the appearance of life on earth was also described and explained. After the discovery of space rays and the radiation influence on the biological object, this theory lost its main base.
But when Appolo-12 found the live earth microorganisms on the probe that landed the moon, scientists remembered it again. Nowadays the ideas of panspermia are often remembered in the context of metabolism between Earth and Mars where there was water on the surface of this planet.
The received data of the mission deep impact in 2006 proves that there was water and the simplest organic matter in the matter of the comet. This shows that comet may be one of possible carriers of life in the Universe.
After the development of this theory scientists became worried by the fact that sending the cosmic apparatuses to other cosmic objects they risk bringing their Earth microorganisms that may change a lot in the result of mutations under the influence of space radiation. Or vice versa, we may bring the harmful and dangerous microorganisms from other planets.
