Steady State theory or Infinite Universe theory

In Cosmology the Infinite Universe theory or the Steady State theory that is sometimes called continuous creation is the model that was developed by Fred Hoyle, Thomas Gold, Hermann Bondi and some other scientists in 1948 as the alternative to the theory of the Big Bang.
According to this model the new matter constantly appears with the gradual widening of the Universe. This matter appears between the galaxies. In such way the cosmological principal is followed.
This model was very much spread and supported by cosmologists in 50-60s of the past century but the discovery of relict radiation decreased the number of followers of this theory in the end of 60s of the past century. Nowadays there are almost no supporters of this theory in scientific sphere.
According to this conception the space is eternal but matter doesn't disappear spontaneously in the limits of Universe and appears in the centre again. Author of this theory Fred Hoyle also refused to accept it nowadays because he convinced in its wrong bases. That is why this theory is usually ignored during the study of the world appearance conceptions and sometimes it is not even mentioned.
However it keeps some points that may be useful for the further investigations and researchers of our world origins. Besides, because of the great criticism of this theory scientists apprehend to make some premature conclusions.
